Aprende Viver<\/strong> uses the unique Brazilian martial art of Capoeira to promote cultural exploration and encourage personal development in children<\/em> living in the Third Ward area, Houston.<\/p>\n

Though our main goal is “fitness” we do not take the normal sports approach.\u00a0 Yes, we teach kicks, ducks and take downs, but we also teach: Portuguese, Afro-Brazilian instruments, cultural history and more.<\/p>\n

Mainly, we focus on overall well-being.\u00a0 Learning different ways to express one-self: through music, dance, or martial arts.<\/p>\n
